Vegas Valley Umpires (VVU) is an amateur umpire association that supplies umpires for little leagues in the Summerlin, N. Las Vegas, Henderson, and Boulder City areas as well as the City of Henderson Parks and Recreation Youth Baseball League.  VVU has been providing this service for over 16 years.  The association is owned and operated by David and Carol Ruegge.  We are looking forward to the challenges ahead this season in helping the youth of our community stay active in sports while earning an income and learning work ethic, in addition to keeping them off the streets.

We have found this to be a great job for the youth in our community in experiencing conflicts that may occur in life.  Our goal is to promote excellence, professionalism and fair play, not only in “The Game”, but also in life.  The umpires interact with adults as well as other youth.  We provide umpires to leagues Monday thru Saturday allowing the umpire to work as little or as much as they desire.  VVU will work around their educational and extra curricular schedules.
